For the days when everything feels too much

Some days feel like a nightmare — full of pressure and rush. On those days I feel tired, overwhelmed, chased by tasks. It feels like my head is going to explode. Everything slips through my fingers and I lose control, unable to do anything and forced to do everything at the same time. The pressure squeezes me in a deadly hug, trying to drain all my energy and leave me barely breathing on the floor. It feels like there is a fog around me and my mind tries to see through it. Everything becomes too loud, too fast, or sometimes painfully slow. Anxiety fills my body like poison. When I feel that I’m losing the present from my sight, I try to stop and breathe. I take a small moment for myself — closing my eyes, trying to find the safe space in my soul, the refuge inside my body — and I tell myself: Everything will be fine. This will pass. You are strong enough. I try to return to the present by focusing on one task, just one thing I can do right now. Finishing that one small thi...

Mototrip 2025 - Tenth day – Sofia, Bulgaria

Last day of the trip was a bit sad for me as I had become used to being on the bike with a hilarious group of people. However, we quickly got of the ferry, found a place in Durres, Albania to eat something and to say goodbye. Veni and I were going back to Bulgaria, while the others would make one night in Greece before returning home.

We said goodbye and left to those stunning mountain views in Albania. The road was great; you could see a very interesting thing – very rich and very poor people living next to each other. The first one in a rich, enormous house, the other one living literary over trash. I still cannot understand how it is possible, such a huge difference living door to door.

From Albania, we went to Macedonia. During the ride there was some rain but nothing too serious, however, because of the previous accident, Veni was very careful. There were no stressful situations, everything was fine, and my motivation to see my son was above all.

We crossed the border in Macedonia and got into Debar. We were so hungry and I saw those doner kebabs and my legs just went into the place. That was so delicious that I cannot describe it. We drove to a gas station to fill the bike and grabbed a coffee.

Some more rain and we arrived in Bulgaria. At first it was a bit strange to hear everybody talking in Bulgarian, I got used to hear certain voices in my language. It was so cold, from 30 degrees and more we went to 13. It was awful but the thought of hugging my son soon kept me warm.

The moment I opened the door my boy was waiting for me screaming from happiness and jumped right into my arms for a hug, after a while her went to hug his father, he was so excited that I almost cried.

Overall, it was a great experience and I would definitely do it again!
