The moments when you stop recognizing yourself

One day I woke up and felt different. I could not say why — it was just a feeling living somewhere inside me. I went to the bathroom and looked in the mirror. It was me, a tired version, but still me. Yet something within me did not feel the same. Something had changed, and I could almost see how this other person was trying to get out and live my life. I told myself it was just a period and it would pass. I thought that once I took a break, I would return to myself again. But weeks later there was still no time to rest. And slowly, the other person began living my life. This person was nervous, anxious, and a bit mean. Unsatisfied, raising his voice, reacting with negativity. Huge news coming soon!

I was so worried and excited over the past few days that I did nоt have time to write for the blog. However, I аm back with some huge news that I will share very soon. The not so big one is that we have a new friend in the garden a baby black cat!

Last week was full of work—we managed to submit a new project proposal. Please keep your fingers crossed that it will be approved! I think I have not shared this before: our family business is mostly focused on writing and managing projects funded by the European Union. In the beginning, I did nоt enjoy it very much, but I have to admit—it has its charm, especially when we see our clients improving their businesses.

On Friday, we took a big step forward as a family. I still cannot believe it happened. I will share the news by the end of the week!

Veni is still teaching some classes in the mornings, and I will start going to the office this week to see my employees and work together. I have an amazing team! I am the youngest, but they do not mind having me as their boss—which, in my country, is quite surprising.

That is all for now. I hope you are enjoying your summer!
