I had this amazing opportunity to be without a child for a whole day! My mother came to visit us in Yasen, combining a few days off with the birthday of our boy. She arrived on Friday late afternoon and we took her out for some delicious burgers. At the same time, Roni wrote to me asking if we wanted to go on a one-day trip to Serbia on some eco trail for a walk. I looked at my mother and she said, “GO.” I got super excited since we hadn’t had a day off for such a long time, and leaving our boy with her (I trust her completely, so I don’t stress about it) was such a relief.
