You’re Not Lazy — You’re Emotionally Exhausted

Mototrip 2025 - Fourth day – Corsica

I woke up early.
(No surprise there.)

I took a shower and finally washed my hair — something that had been waiting for the right moment.

There was a Carrefour nearby, full of everything you might need.

Veni and I decided to try as much as possible.

Pastries.
Coffee.
A bit of everything.

And of course — I saw a fluffy rabbit.

I couldn’t resist.

Our son loves rabbits.
I knew this would become his favorite.

We took everything to the beach.

A quiet breakfast.
A soft morning.
The sea in front of us.

The water wasn’t cold.

Veni decided to go for a swim.

At 8:30 am.

I refused immediately.

Instead, I stayed with my coffee.

Watching.
Enjoying the calm.

He came back happy and full of energy.

I stayed exactly where I needed to be.

We got on the bikes around 9:15.

And something shifted.

Not in a good way.

Turns.

Curves.

Endless movement.

And suddenly, my body didn’t feel okay.

I felt like I was going to pass out.

As soon as we stopped, I tried to breathe.

My hands were shaking.
Someone said I looked pale.

In that moment, everything felt too much.

After a short break, it got better.

A drink.
Some time.
Some silence.

Later, after eating, I felt more stable.

Not perfect — but better.

Enough to continue.

We stopped at a small place.

I don’t remember the name.

But I remember the feeling.

People smiling.
Soft energy.
Kindness without effort.

The plan was to reach Porto.

But we didn’t.

Too many turns.
Too many views.

Too many moments that made us stop.

We reached Calvi instead.

And decided to stay.

We found a small, beautiful hotel.
A pool.
A beach nearby.

It felt like the right place.

The weather was perfect.

We went to the beach.

I didn’t go into the water.

Instead, I wrote.

In my notebook.

Because I forget things quickly — especially when everything is happening so fast.

Veni was everywhere.

Swimming.
Climbing rocks.
Disappearing for a while.

I got worried.

More than once.

But I reminded myself — he grew up next to the Danube.

He knows water.

Still… I watched.

Later, we walked.

Calvi felt big.

And expensive.

But also beautiful.

We got some food to go.

Sat near a monument.

A quiet place with a view.

We ate slowly.

No rush.

We walked for more than an hour.

Just exploring.

Letting the place unfold.

The night ended simply.

A glass of whiskey next to the pool.

And when I thought about the day…

it wasn’t perfect.

There was fear.
There was dizziness.

But there was also something else.

A softer kind of strength.

The kind that stays even when things feel unstable.

Despite everything — it was a good day.

If your body ever feels like it’s fighting you, you’re not alone.
