Hi and welcome to my messy mind! It took me 10 years to finally step up and talk about this. I still do not feel brave enough to do it but even if I help one person, it will worth it. My name is Kristina and I have OCD with intrusive thoughts. Writing helps me relax, focus and keep my mind calmer. I really hope that my blog will be beneficial for others who struggle just like me. I do not have a medical degree so everything I am sharing is my personal experience and how I am dealing with it.

Mototrip 2025 - Sixth day – hello Sardinia
I woke up at 5:50 am. (I know something is
wrong with me, do not laugh.) Ready to eat a delicious breakfast in Corsica. We
prepared our luggage very fast and put it on the bike, had a vast walk just to
make sure nothing works at 7 am, so we took the bike an went to something like
a retail park with a lovely bakery. We had croissants and something like a
chocolate croissants, all with some amazing coffee.
Next stop was the ferry to Sardinia. Amazing
views, I tried to write in my notebook but it did not work out well, so instead
I enjoyed the sun and had a lovely chat with Veni and one of the guys.
After around 40 min we were in Sardinia. It
felt very different from Corsica. First, we visited some kind of elephant
statue/monument and then we drove to Porto torres and asked a local girl, she
was the kindest person I have ever met, she told us about the city and where to
get the best food. We listened to her advice and went to restaurant Cristallo.
Veni and I ate pasta – absolute perfection, we also had lemon soda (my
favorite) and a ristretto.
With full bellies and happy faces, we left
Porto torres and went to see a cave. When we got to the cave they told me that the
price was 25 euros and that there are 600 stairs to get down, I laughed hard
and told them they are insane if they think I will pay to do this in my
motorcycle equipment. At the end, nobody went in it but I bought a present for
Roni (my friend and piano teacher).
Final destination of the day – Bosa. What an interesting place, full of color! We were staying in Resort Isola Rossa, the room was lovely, clean and with nice aroma. I did not try the pool but I went straight to the beach, I still refused to go in the water, I felt perfectly fine to sit on the sand and write, and maybe have some silly photos.
The whole group went into the water; they
seemed very glad, ok, most of them. Suddenly, I heard my name and turned around
and a cold beer got into my hand. Perfection!
This city is so amazing, so colorful and
romantic. I could not wait to go for a walk and experience this atmosphere. Our
hotel was close but not enough to the center, so we took the bike and went with
it. It was around 7 pm and the sun was going down, the views were breathtaking and
I got so excited. We started climbing to the top of the city, through the
narrow streets, such an inspiration, the colors, the art; you can tell
everything is made with so much love, love for life, and love for the detail.
Every house could tell you something about his owner, his view of life. On the
top of the city (the streets go up and up with stairs), there was some kind of
event, lots of kiosks with wine, food, jewelry, music, people laughing and
enjoying their time. I felt a bit uneasy, but at the same time wanted to dive
in this way of living and take most of it. My stomach reminded me that it is
time to have dinner so we went to see where we could have some delicious food.
We chose Don Carlos and the service was great! I had a glass of white wine,
Veni had a glass of red wine and each of us ordered a pizza. Everything was
high-class experience. After the dinner, we went for another quick walk and at
the end; we grabbed a drink and sat at the swimming pool enjoying the sounds of
the birds and the silence of the night. It was a great day, I loved it!
