Mototrip 2025 - Sixth day – hello Sardinia
I woke up at 5:50 am. (I know, something is wrong with me — don’t laugh.)
I was ready for a good breakfast in Corsica.
We packed quickly, put everything on the bike, and went out to look for something open. Of course, nothing really works that early, so we ended up riding to something like a retail park where we found a lovely bakery.
Croissants.
Chocolate croissants.
And amazing coffee.
Exactly what we needed.
Next stop — the ferry to Sardinia.
The views were beautiful. I tried to write in my notebook, but it didn’t work out, so I just let it go and enjoyed the sun. I talked with Veni and one of the guys, and it felt calm and easy.
After about 40 minutes, we were in Sardinia.
It felt different from Corsica right away.
Our first stop was some kind of elephant monument, and then we headed to Porto Torres. We asked a local girl for advice and she was probably one of the kindest people I’ve ever met. She told us where to eat, what to see, and we trusted her completely.
We went to restaurant Cristallo.
Veni and I both had pasta — absolute perfection.
Lemon soda (my favorite) and a ristretto.
Simple. Perfect.
With full bellies and happy faces, we continued.
We went to see a cave, but when I heard it was 25 euros and 600 stairs down, I just laughed. There was no way I was doing that in motorcycle gear. In the end, nobody went in. I did buy a small present for Roni though.
Our final destination was Bosa.
And it felt like stepping into a different world.
Color everywhere.
Warm, soft, alive.
We stayed at Resort Isola Rossa. The room was clean, calm, and smelled nice. I skipped the pool and went straight to the beach. Still no swimming for me — I was perfectly happy sitting on the sand, writing, and taking a few silly photos.
The others went into the water. Most of them looked very happy.
At one point, I heard my name and suddenly there was a cold beer in my hand.
Perfection.
Bosa is such a beautiful place. Colorful, romantic, full of life. I couldn’t wait to walk through it.
The hotel wasn’t exactly in the center, so we took the bike again. It was around 7 pm, the sun was going down, and everything looked unreal.
We started going up through the narrow streets.
Higher and higher.
The colors.
The small details.
The feeling that everything was created with love.
Every house felt like it had a story.
At the top, there was some kind of event. Small kiosks, wine, food, jewelry, music. People laughing, talking, enjoying the evening.
I felt a bit uneasy, but also drawn to it.
Like I wanted to be part of that energy, even if just for a moment.
Then my stomach reminded me it was time to eat.
We chose Don Carlos.
The service was great.
I had a glass of white wine.
Veni had red.
And we both ordered pizza.
Everything felt… high quality.
Calm. Enjoyable.
After dinner, we took another short walk, and later we sat by the pool with a drink, listening to the birds and the quiet night.
It was a simple day.
But a really good one.
I loved it.

If you ever feel like slowing down and just enjoying where you are, maybe that’s exactly what you need.
